Objectives:
After this lesson, students will be able to:
1. activate prior knowledge.
2. analyze stereotypes about men and women.
3. adjust to a new class dynamic.

Agenda:
1. As our current unit from the PST is focused on the plight of women, students will experience a new seating arrangement - males on one side of the classroom, and females on the other side. Students will not be given any prior notice of this new arrangement and will thereby experience a disequilibrium as they enter the room and sit in their new seats.

2. Warm-up: How do you feel about this new seating arrangement? Why do you think that Ms. Kingsbury has organized the class in this fashion? Describe in detail the people you see sitting across the room from you now. Ms. Kingsbury will solicit answers from the students and offer her explanation as to why males and females have been segregated from each other.

a. Men are always good at....
b. Women are always good at...
