Objectives:
After this class, students will be able to:
1. brainstorm ideas for the contents of an online yearbook.
2. follow procedure for laptop usage.
3. use new software to generate media.
Agenda:
1. Warm-Up: Please post your answer to this question in the COMMENTS section below. Picture in your mind your ideal OHS yearbook. What does it contain? Think pictures, commentary, sports, clubs, gossip etc.
2. Today students will receive an orientation to their Macbooks. Students must sign a usage contract and submit their ID before being issued a laptop to use in class.
Daily Laptop Distribution Procedure:
Students will be allowed to use the CFF laptops under the following procedural conditions:
1. Student must submit his/her ID to Ms. Kingsbury in order to receive a laptop.
2. Student must keep laptop on his/her desk AT ALL TIMES.
3. If a student leaves the room during class for any reason, he/she must return his/her laptop to Ms. Kingsbury.
4. Students are not dismissed from class until ALL laptops are returned to Ms. Kingsbury and accounted for in the laptop cart.
5. Should even ONE LAPTOP go missing, the CFF Program will end immediately.
Students will learn how to turn on the computer, sign in, and take pictures of themselves using Photobooth.
Homework: Tomorrow students will begin to work on their Yearbook Project. Got a picture you'd like to include? Be sure to email it to yourself tonight or put it onto a flash drive to upload tomorrow.

if i were doing a year book it would contain a cheerleading page.it would tell alittle about us and the fun we had at the games.i would do a couple page and tell who went with who.under our pictures in the book i would tell what that person was in school.like what people though about them and what role they played in the school.
I think for a yearbook picture I would probably use either a picture of me and my godson or a picture of me just chilling
I think our yearbook should have pictures of all of use just hanging around having fun. Our yearbook should show us having fun and acting extremely goofy.You know just being everyday teenagers. It should also show us doing sports, plays,anything school related.
My idea of the perfect year book would have a leroy page it would have me and some of my friends and how much fun we would try to make the best of the whole three years i been at Overbrook High

If i were creating a yearbook, it would contain a page for all the pictures of thumbs up, and other awards shows that we had. It would also contain a page for all the after school activities and junior and senior prom. It should also have pages of all groups of friends, offguard having fun lol.
the yearbook should contain pictures of different events with only the seniors it should include a page for the honor society so i can have a another pic by myself and it should have a page of our time at overbrook
My ideal yearbook would contain photos of everystudents not just people who think they are popular. there would be pics of each academy and the different things they do. Also pics of each indivisual sports and groups and the different groups.

If I was doing a yearbook I would do a page on myself.I would just talk about things that I like to do and also things that I went through since I been in overbrook and what I have learned from what I done.
well since i like jus got here, i really dont know what would be the ideal yearbook but im assuming that it should have pictures of sports clubs and people like all other yearbooks.. i guess
I think for a year book there should be pictures of all the basketball,football,soccer,baseball players.It should also contain all the kids that has been involved with any activities. There should also be a big picture of my BEAUTIFUL face and the other seniors and whatever else
I think for our yearbook we should have at least 2 pages dedicated to me and a page to promote my album "Nessy's Back!".Sike but I think everyone should have like half a page dedicated to their legacy in Brooke
I think the year book should have pictures of everyone. Pictures of the people playing sports and working! It should also have everyone have fun and black and white pictures of the most memorable times!
If I was to create a yearbook for us seniors it would be all the thumbs up tuesdays we had and any other events we had this year. As far as pictures it would be all random pics of me and my friends and teachers and staff!!!
I think the perfect idea for a yearbook for class of 2009 would have to be lets of pictures of the whole senior class to make the yearbook more memorble. We as the class of 2009 could always go back and remember all the good times we had in school from all the fun pictures we took as a unit.
If i were to add my opinion for our ideal ohs yearbook, ,i would include every sporting event,special programs, every graduating senior, staff member, principle, assistant principles etc.I would also include honor roll students perfect attendance our class president and pictures of the whole class of 2009.
well since that i am on yearbook team i already know what the yearbook consist of, and since im designing the yearbook it already has taste of what i want in there. i have alot of picture of kids doin fun things and activites that went on in the school
On my ideal yearbook i want a whole lot of pictures of me and my friends, the football team and thats about it....
if i was doing the OHS yearbook it would contain a few pages of each sport/activities in this school. It also would have top ten everything that goes on in this school.I would not put any gossip in t because those things start a lot of drama.
My ideal yearbook would have sections for different kinds of students such as athletes, musicians, artist, etc. I also would have a bunch of random awards and blogs which talk about funny Overbrook moments. Last i would have ten pages devoted to all the pretty girls.
My iddeal yearbook would be online. The online yearbook would show videos of the graduates of class 2009. This yearbook would show slide shows of past and present pictures of the class 2009. This yearbook would also show what the students plan to do for their future. This yearbook could also be like a message center where as we get older we can message the students and they will reply from off the website sort of like a myspace or facebook, and you would also be able to post differnt things up there and comment stuff.
THE PERFECT YEAR BOOK WOULD HAVE EVERYTHING THAT HAPPEN THROUGHOUT THE YEAR IN IT.
I think in the year book there should be pictures of all the students that attend Overbrook High School. Also funny and exciting things that happened during the year, so when people look in the year book they can remember that time. Also the sport players so they can remember the times they played sports in Overbrook.
I would have a picture of me and my friends chilling as always.
My idea OHS yearbook would have all the pics we took here at OHS. Pictures of the football team and basketball team and the other sports team we have here and of course OHS students!!
When it comes to the yearbook, I think that it should have something like pictures of all of us on a normal day and what we have done. There should be one page of fights showing that we been through worst and a page of hugs and laughs showing our good. Poems also about our years.
If I was too add my opinion to the year book it would have every sporting event, pictures from each year of high school, prom pictures, and details about everybody who graduated.
My idea of the perfect yearbook should include sports, special programs, the senior class, staff members, the principle, and honor roll students. Also it should include pictures of the class trips -n- junior and seniors proms. I think i have the best idea lol.
I think the 2009 year book should include; pictures of all the athletic players.. i think it should include the top 25 smartest students with a quote that they can write under their pictures. i think the book should include pictures of all the 12th grade class rooms as a group and pictures of me and my friends.
MY ideal ohs year would include more pics than anything. We would have pic of what people looked like in 9th grade and what they look like now in 12th grade.Pic of everybody @ the jr. prom and senior prom.
idk how the yearbook is gonna look b/c they didnt even start takin pics yet and i dont appericate that

If i was putting together a yearbook i would put pictures of me and my son.Also i would contain some pages of activities and sports that OHS had or has and put what we would miss and who we would miss the most also pictures of them activities.

if i had a idea of a 2009 year book it would just be a page all about me or my high school memories that i had at over brook that I'm going to miss when i graduate this year
i would love 4 our yearbook 4 the senior class of "09" to be alot of really good pics of everybody.For us to have things like best dressed and things like that.i want our yearbook to be really nice.
i think that the 2009 yearbook should include all of the sports that the students played for the years the were in Over brook. the yearbook should have pics of the special events that we had in our school like: thumbs up tuesday, robotics club, and all the good stuff. In 2009 the years needs all the good times we had in Over brook for the four ears we were hear.
the yearbook contain all of that pic,sports and more but i think they should let us talk about how high school help us.
it would have every body in it. we would have a page with nothing but friends all over the page. Also the students would have a say in what's going on.
ohs yearbook would contain pictures, funny sayings, things that go on in school, special events it would be pages where students can write whatever they have to say about but good yhings like all the good stuff nothing negative.
