Objectives:
After this class, students will be able to:
a. reflect on personal experiences.
b. locate a visual representation of love.
c. create a piece of creative writing.
Agenda:
1. Warm-up: Textbook - page 1060 - Is it better to be a part of a couple or to be alone as a single? Students will write the answer in their notebook and then share answers for EC.
2. Scavenger Hunt - students will search their textbook for a picture which represents love to them. In their notebooks, they should write down: name of the picture, page #, what is in the picture, and what it means to you.
3. Creative Writing Assignment: Students should write one of the following:
a. a dialogue between two people who love each other
b. a monologue entitled "Why I Don't Love You Anymore"
c. a love poem
Homework: Students should continue to work on their senior project powerpoint presentations.
